Big Rocks

exe meal in apollo bay

We stayed overnight in Apollo Bay, in a (lovely?) hostel with lots of scary creepy-crawlies. In celebration of making it this far we went out for a meal, and even picked a swanky restaurant - unfortunately for the starving people, it only did mincy artistic portions. I missed out on Neils face, which would have been a great one for the Ugly Mugs page!

And we saw the famous coastline, which I will let speak for themselves...

Everyone was most impressed with London Bridge, although as our last stop on the rock tour, I think that we were starting to get jaded by then, and Richard wanted some more food. It still takes my breath away though.

Thankfully Cindy managed to drive us all the way back to Melbourne, which meant that I could catch up on some of the sleep that I had been missing out on in the previous few days...

And we got back into Melbourne just in time to see the sunset and make the skyline look absolutely gorgeous - and then headed down to the beach to get some great sunset pictures.
And so ended another lovely weekend on the Victorian coast - if only the girls hadn't listened to their 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' soundtrack. Aaaaggghhhh....
